Remember before the Roger Goodell days when there was actual hitting on defense? Pepperidge Farm remembers. As does Bears LB Jon Bostic apparently, who just demolished Chargers WR Mike Willie on this hit. Bostic may be handing over his first born child as part of the inevitable fines he’ll be paying for this one.
Come on Bostic, you’re supposed to go for the flag, remember? Looks like the Bears could do okay without that “Brian Urlacher” guy.
(UPDATE: Bostic was fined $21,000 for this hit on August 21. Roger Goodell has zero tolerance for clean open field tackle attempts.)
