The game of baseball has spent well over a century emotionally kicking their players and fans in the balls. Today, the literal manifestation of that sadistic treatment was on display in Pittsburgh, as Cubs catcher Wellington Castillo took a strike in the one place you never want to take a strike.

Not coincidentally, that is the hardest any Cub hit a ball all day. Hope Wellington wasn’t planning on a big family.
