While the Worldwide Derek Jeter retirement tour has been going on, the Yankees have been playing baseball. Not much baseball, but they’ve been playing. Some.
And Derek Jeter hasn’t been all that happy at times. Can you blame him? Instead of counting ringzzzz they’ve been counting the number of games back of the wild card they were.
Against the Blue Jays, things started to improve. But Jeter didn’t look too happy with Ichiro. Suddenly, like the Yankees’ season. His face improved quite a bit.
And like the Yankees’ season, it was quite a surprise.
