GIF: Hunter Pence Saves Phillie Phanatic With CPR

There appears to be a bond between San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence and Philadelphia Phillies mascot The Phillie Phanatic. We assume it has something to do with the fact that they are both odd-looking creatures. Anyway, that bond led to some serious mouth-to-snout resuscitation when the Phanatic took one of his frequent spills on the Citizens Bank Park turf.

The former Phillie still has a soft spot for his old team. Unfortunately for Phillies fans, no one can save the Phillies’ season….which is great because we get more opportunities for videos like this from earlier this season.
