GIF: Laker fan leaves Dwight Howard hanging

You may have heard about this free agent move in the NBA last summer where a giant baby found a new home in Houston. Unfortunately for the rest of the league, they didn’t just stick Dwight Howard in a new day care, they actually gave him a chance to ruin a third organization in three years.

On February 19th, Dwight Howard came home. Well, to his 2nd home. Not his original home in Orlando. His other home in L.A. Confused yet?

Dwight insisted it was no big deal:

Well it was a big deal to Laker fans. On the way back to the locker room, Dwight tried to give a Laker fan a high five:

Laker fan: “Ohhhhh too slow.”

That quote works well, because it also describes the product the Lakers put on the floor.

Dwight Howard seemed to be taking the “hate” in stride, even joining on a “Howard sucks” chant himself:

Let’s see if he does that when his own fans yell it at him during the playoffs. Or will he be sitting out with another “back injury”? Stay tuned.
