Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose Take Their Emotions To Facebook

Reports have confirmed what Kobe Bryant had feared; he has a ruptured Achilles and will miss 6-9 months. He took his emotions to Facebook last night where he displayed the heart of a lion. “One day, the beginning of a new career will commence. TODAY is not that day.”

Injuries have plagued many NBA stars this season, including Derrick Rose who also took to Facebook when he suffered a huge setback last night. “I think my foot fell asleep while I was watching television,” wrote a clearly emotional Rose. “It’s tingly, pins and needles, heavy…it feels so WEIRD lol.”

Rose has yet to play in an NBA game this season. As the night drew on, things continued to get worse and worse for Rose. “Oh man, we’re out of peanut butter.”

Meanwhile, Bryant’s emotional burst led him to question his future in the league. “Now I’m supposed to come back from this and be the same player, or BETTER at age 35? How am I supposed to do that?”

Rose, exhibiting the heart of a shivering Chihuahua, also called into question his future. “I’m going to be so tired in the morning, but I can’t stop watching Spongebob lol.”

Kobe concluded his rant with a nod to the fans, “Thank you for all your prayers and support. Much love.”

Rose also ended his rant with on a very positive note. “I can’t believe I’m making 16 million this year lol. That’s so cray.”
