VIDEO: Flyers Embarrassed, Fight Everybody
- Updated: November 2, 2013

Philadelphia– The Flyers and Capitals met last night in a typical Metropolitan Division hug-fest. With the Flyers residing at the bottom of the division, this game was expected to be a laugher.
Not like this.
Down 7-0 in the third period after a Joel Ward hat-trick among other goals, the Flyers were so embarrassed, they decided it was a good idea to beat the utter crap out of the Capitals. Goalie Ray Emery of the Flyers was clearly behind the decision.
With reports surfacing that claim Caps goalie Braden Holtby didn’t even want to fight, and in fact told Ray Emery this, only for Emery to tell him to “Protect yourself” before using his head as a punching bag, it can be assumed that suspensions will be handed out like Halloween candy. Recently acquired Flyer Steve Downie was taken to the hospital, and Vincent Lecavalier will be out with an injury as well. Pretty sure this is the most embarrassing game the Flyers have played in a long while.
Now, if only Peter Laviolette and Ilya Bryzgalov had been there…
