Boston — One of the most prized traditions in hockey is the handshake line at the end of a playoff series. This is an event NHL fans use to prove their sport is superior to all other professional sports. Even after a hard-fought series, the two teams will still shake each other’s hands in a show of sportsmanship. It is a noble spectacle

Unless one of your players is a douchewaffle.

Moments after being eliminated by the rival Montreal Canadiens, the Bruins and Habs formed the traditional handshake line and began. Cameras caught this along the way.

Now, we aren’t expert lip-readers, but we are fairly certain Milan Lucic wasn’t asking either Dale Weise or Alexi Emelin for a French Toast recipe. Some are saying Lucic was threatening them. Frankly, it doesn’t matter. Rivalry or not, the handshake line is a time for gentlemanly behavior, not the place to be like a spoiled child. Now we all have to hope the Rangers can knock the Habs out in the Eastern Conference Finals. Last thing the world needs is Canada winning the Gold and the Cup.

‘Merica.
