You crafty old dog, Derek Jeter. The Captain successfully faked out Indians’ baserunner Jason Kipnis on a short foul pop up towards third base to get him doubled off of first.

Kipnis made a Little League mistake, which is something the Indians will definitely need to clean up before they compete in the Little League World Series next month. The Mirage Sportsbook currently has them with the 3rd best odds to win in Williamsport.

In a ceremony after the game, the Indians presented Jeter with a retirement gift he truly deserved: Kipnis’ jock strap, which was found somewhere in the vicinity of second base during that play. Grandpa Derek then fooled Kipnis one more time with the “got your nose” trick before magically pulling a quarter from behind his ear.
