VIDEO: Manny Machado Throws Another Tantrum…And A Bat
- Updated: June 8, 2014

It seems like it was just yesterday that we featured an article about Orioles third baseman Manny Machado overreacting to a tag from Oakland’s Josh Donaldson. It seems that way because it was yesterday. It appears that Machado’s ignorance could not be contained in just one game.

Manny Ramirez had basically trademarked the phrase “Manny being Manny” in references to the former Red Sox outfielder being known as an idiot savant. Manny Machado is threatening to take ownership of the phrase for simply being an idiot.
If you are keeping score at home, that is two tantrums by Machado in this series, each featuring a .different piece of equipment tossed – a helmet and a bat. If only this Athletics-Orioles series lasted a few more games, we would likely have eventually seen him throw his glove and his spikes before finally pulling his jock strap out of his pants like Hansel (he’s so hot right now). There is still a chance for more fireworks, though, as Baltimore is scheduled to travel to Oakland next month. While a playoff series between the two would be fascinating, the chances are slim because….well, Orioles.
