VIDEO: Raptors GM Masai Ujiri says “F*** Brooklyn!!”
- Updated: April 19, 2014

At the beginning of the season the Toronto Raptors were widely expected to tank for Wiggins, even dumping Rudy Gay in Sacramento to try and help the nosedive down the standings. But then a funny thing happened…they ended up in the playoffs. As the 3 seed. And a franchise record for wins (yes 48, is the most they’ve ever had…meanwhile the Suns missed the playoffs with 48 wins in the West. Welcome to the East.)
This is what happens in the Eastern Conference, where half the teams can’t even tank right.
So instead of getting fired up for lottery balls, they were getting fired up for a playoff series against the Nets, who spent half the year tanking themselves while trying to win (remember, it’s the East).
The Toronto Sun started things off:
(Insert rings comment as a comeback from Nets fans here)
But it got better from team officials themselves. Raptors GM Masai Ujiri had some choice New Yorker style words for Brooklyn at a rally for the team:

Naturally having used such a no no word that only 99.99999999999999999999% of the country uses on a daily basis, Masai was forced to give an “apology” that no one believes.
Won’t be long now that he’ll be forced to apologize for his team and his conference.
