VINE: Lakers G Ronnie Price plays defense by throwing his shoe
- Updated: October 12, 2014

The Lakers went into the 2013-14 off-season with dreams of LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant pacing the floor for them in 2014. They came out with the three stooges, starring Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer (it wasn’t all bad though, the team released a statement on the acquisition of Lin, quite excited about it: notsportscenter.com/LakersLinStatement).
So they’ve had to resort to some unorthodox methods to try to make things happen. Ronnie Price lost his shoe and needed to play defense on Andre Iguodala. So what did he do?
He threw it at him.

Austin Powers,your thoughts?
Apparently the Lakers, that’s who.
To be fair, it’s probably safer than playing actual defense on Dre. We remember what happened when Quincy Miller tried last year: notsportscenter.com/RIPQuincyMiller
