VINE: Ref crushes Jermaine Jones, where’s his red card?

There wasn’t a whole lot of action in the first half of the game between the US and Germany, perhaps with a secret “wink wink hush hush” handshake deal going on with both needing a draw to advance. Or so people thought until the 2nd half started.

But here was a first half summary of the match:

However there was one piece of action, a very nasty hit that briefly took out the US’ Jermaine Jones.

And it was by…a referee?
