VINE: Yu Darvish, Japanese Pitcher Throw Eephus Pitches

Since he was signed by the Texas Rangers in 2012, Yu Darvish has raised the bar for Asian-born pitchers….and he has proceeded to throw some of his pitches over that bar.

Well, not surprisingly, one Japanese pitcher – Kazuhito Tadano – took it to the next level with the kind of accuracy any slow pitch softball pitcher would be envious of.

Considering the state of the Rangers’ pitching staff beyond Darvish, they may want to double down and sign Tadano. The biggest question we have is whose toss had the greatest velocity: Tadano’s eephus pitch or this Korean’s bat flip.
